Hey there, Garfy scolded me for being so slow with my scourges, so I tried to ramp up and thanks to the German bank holiday on last Thursday I managed to complete scourges no. 2 and 3 (at last). How do you like them? To my excuse, on the one on the right you can see why it takes so long to finish those models – so many details and different textures: black leather/wings, purple armour, bare skin, blue hair, flayed skin, gold, bone, fluid containers, glowing eyes…
Using the momentum I also made a start on scourges no. 4 and 5. The aim I set myself for this month of “Tale of Mega Painters” is to complete my unit of scourges and to assemble and basecoat a venom, so I need to get going.

Stahly lives in Craftworld Hamburg, located in the north of Germany. He has been involved with Warhammer since childhood and has painted several armies and countless warbands and kill teams over the decades. When he's not painting miniatures incredibly slowly, he's writing tutorials and testing the latest miniature paints, hobby tools and kits. He founded Tale of Painters to pass on his knowledge and bring inspiration to your hobby.
Aw, it was more like gentle encouragement 😉
Keep at it dude, this unit is going to look spectacular.
