This is the fourth batch of Dark Eldar Wyches. I saved the hydra gauntlets for this final batch. As you can see, they are coming along quite nicely, which means I’m going to make the aim I set myself for Tale of Mega Painters this month.
By the way, by popular demand I brought my usual paint station background back. What do you prefer – a white backdrop or paint station background for WIP models? We need to settle this for once and for all 🙂

The WIP shotsmake the white background that bit more special because you can tell they're finished.
What's that gold colour? It looks slightly different to the paints used in the tutorial, really like it!
Neither: paintstation is distracting and white background is too stark.
I agree, paint station for the WIP and white backdrop for the showcase shots.
+1
Paint station definitely – it is a WIP shot after all 🙂
I like the paint station for the WIP shots, more informal, feels appropriate, its also a nice way to distinguish showcase models further 🙂
Looking good. I like the paint station for WIP shots.
