Here comes a small but fun project: Painting one of the models from the Space Marine Heroes Series 1, Brother Calistus with flamer and MkIV armour (and, strangely, MkVII arms and pauldrons). After painting Primaris old Marines feel so small (even though they slightly upscaled the lower bodies of the Space Marine Heroes models). I painted him as a Salamander for the Space Marine Adventures boxed game, where he is called Brother Infernus. Space Marine Adventures contains 5 models from the Space Marine Heroes collection, each one representing a different chapter. I probably won’t paint all five models in one go, but sneak in a model here and there between larger projects.

I have a handful of models sitting here, which I wanted to paint as Salamanders for a long time but didn't, due to me not being able to figure out the green in a way I'm satisfied with.
In short, a tutorial would be highly appreciated.
I second this… especially the black skin looks just right. I always struggle with darker skin-tones, most tutorials are about caucasian skin.
