Hey guys, I made some progress on the Stormtalon. As you can see, the main hull is finished now, since the last post I added transfers and battle damage and painted the base. I’m a less is more guy when it comes to bases, but I used a ruin piece from the 3rd edition starter set for decoration. The battle damage is hand painted, to match the style of my older Ultramarine vehicles (I’m a big fan of consistency). Nowadays I would probably use a more refined sponge weathering technique though. Now I need to work my way through the wings, side turrets and the pilot. I guess I’ll be able to finish the model this week. How do you like it so far?

He never drills the barrels! Heresy I say!
Yeah, I just wanted to test his faith 🙂
Looks good so far. It's difficult to see from the picture but you seem to have skipped edge highlights for the chassis altogether.
Do you plan on drilling the gun barrels?
Thanks 🙂 The chassis has drybrushed highlights, it's hard to see in the picture.
