Next week we’ll see the new codex Blood Angels. After the last couple of codices I’m not very thrilled about the new book, at least we’ll get a couple new models with it. Anyways, I’ve finished the first batch of three assault marines. Means that, together with my test model, half of the unit is painted already 😉 Four models left to do. I’ll work on them in batches of two.
So, how do you like the first batch?

The mix of parts is very balanced, are you waiting even the new Tac Squad of BA for further new customization?
Not for the assault squad, but some of the bits might show up on futura BA models of mine 😉
Splendid as usual Stahly.
I know that these guys will be following the pattern from the previous Blood Angels but have you thought about applying some battle damage? May be an interesting challenge.
No, I like my Marines clean 😉 But I'll try some sponge weathering once I get around painting some BA vehicles.
