Hey all, this is my finished Legio Custode Tribune Ixion Hale that I picked up from Forge World from Salute 2017.
I painted Ixion Hale over a couple of nights as a break between larger projects. He is the first smaller Legio Custodes model that I have painted and I had fun with him and will paint more of them. The model itself was a really beautiful sculpt and it was pretty easy to assemble. Sadly I do need to take some more photos. The two in the post are very similar, but I think you can get a idea of how he turned out. Anyway what do you think?

Cheers all,I really did enjoy painting this one and had a lot of fun. It is a great sculpt. C
That's crazy. You used colour!! It looks amazing!!
Your metallics are awsome on this piece, your paintingstile fits so much to this miniature! May I ask which colours are used for the gold?
I used every gold I had available. I believe about 8 different shades including white and then Windsor and Newton ink Canary Yellow. It's hard to explain as it was more a spure of the moment. The golds are all from P3, Vallejo and Scalecolor.
Don't often see such bright pops of color on your stuff, but it really looks great!
It looks dirty/grainy.
Wow… It's a great model and your paintjob really does it full justice! I especially like the gold and the face, both of them making him look like the grim veteran of a long war truly is.
I really like what you have done with this model.Jeff
Such a fantastic looking model, your red and purple really draw the eye.
