Another blog post, another Imperium issue done and completed. This time it’s Assault Intercessors from issue 13.

I decided to paint them as Black Templars and to spice things up a little I used spare helmets from the Sword Brethren plastics to make them a little more crusader like. Also added a couple of candles and a relic to the sergeant. He has a bionic arm so I thought it was funny to hang the skeleton hand relic from his waist.

Painting was pretty simple as I just followed my own tutorial (link below) They did take quite a while to paint, around a week and a half. Dunno if I’m getting slower or if there was more real world life stuff getting in the way. They came out pretty sweet so Im happy with the extra time spent on them.

That might be it for my journey with Imperium for a little while, I got some GW projects to work on that I’ve been sent and I’m not going to have much free time for Imperium now which is a shame because I’ve really enjoyed painting each issue and trying to keep up with the monthly subscription and getting the models painted before the next delivery.
