Unable to dispatch his armies into the thick undergrowth of the Gnarlwood, Sigmar created the Questor Soulsworn. Elite groups of powerful armour clad warriors armed with powerful and devastating weaponry such as Grandhammers. Led by a Questor Prime, the group is also joined by a Knight Relictor. The reality is far from this version of events with the truth being these deluded ghouls are under the influence of an insane vampire with a monstrous hunger. Shoals of Screamers hunt down their prey no matter what its size using barbed, spiked and bladed wings. Even large creatures aren’t safe from their lamprey bite and gorging itself on the life blood of the hapless victim. Showcase: Soulblight Gravelords Fell Bats (inc. painting guide)
When I wrote my recap of last year, I realized I haven’t painted anything for my Soulblight Gravelords and Nighthaunt collection in ages. I had a box of the new plastic Fell Bats sitting on my shelf for ages, so I thought I would give them a go. I got a Vargskyr from Cursed City, which I also want to paint at some point, so these Fell Bats are kind of test models for the scheme I planned for it.
