We love a good man cave here at Tale of Painters. I was recently visiting a friend who had a fantastic man cave with 2 desks. 1 for his computer, 1 for his hobby. This got me thinking about upgrading my man cave to make better use of the space. Originally I had a small desk and I was squeezing both my work and hobby onto it. As you can see from the picture above I’ve upgraded to a huge L shape desk. The first benefit to this is my paints and brushes are now to the left of me. This is really good for me because I’m left handed.
I’ve just ordered an extractor fan box for airbrushing for having a permanent airbrush set up on the desk.

Can you link to which desk this is. IKEA has a bagillion different desks
Sweet upgrade mate – glad i made an impression! 🙂
Great man cave, but that wall in front of the chair is screaming for some shelves to put more minis, crystal instead of wood would be better. any way great setup and congrats.
The desk looks awesome. I really need to check out this setup from IKEA next time. Thanks for the pix.
I just got a desk like that too. My paints keeping moving to the computer side though 😉
Not that is my kind of man cave.
And nice action man next to the tape measure and paints.
Front left, on the desk just in front of the paints, getting 5+ cover from the wood glue.
Very jealous of your hobby setup!
