Hellblade wielding Bloodletters astride a rampaging Juggernaut is the stuff of nightmares. These Bloodcrushers are led by a Bloodhunter, they’re keen to use their Decapitating Blow to take the Skulls for Khorne. I’m not sure how many skulls are going to be left intact after the Brazen Hooves have trampled the enemy to mush.

Here’s a quick recap on why I’m painting Blades of Khorne Bloodcrushers. On Father’s Day this year my Daughter gifted me the Realm of Chaos set that pitted Karanak’s Khorne Daemons against the Infernal Enraptress’ Slaanesh Daemons. The set is a perfect way to get enough models for two Warcry Warbands and that was my plan. I painted up a Khorne Warband and I’ve started a Slaanesh Warband.

With the 1000pt Khorne Warband done earlier in the year, I revisited them back in Autumn and painted up the remainder of the Bloodletters and Flesh Hounds to make complete sized units for Age of Sigmar. Sadly, I didn’t have time to finish the Bloodcrushers, until now! I had to dig out my paint scheme for these that was on my notes app on my phone because I haven’t made a Tutorial yet for Khorne Daemons. Perhaps, I’ll record the steps when I paint Karanak and make a guide for him. The Juggernaut’s red armour and brass I followed my Iron Golem tutorial and the Hellblade I followed my Fiery Blade tutorial.

Check it out, it’s my little fledging Blades of Khorne Age of Sigmar army. I’ve added in my Slaughter Priest who I was using as a Mercenary for my Iron Golems. You’ll notice his armour matches the Juggernauts perfectly. Talking about matching, all the bases are painted identically to my Slaves to Darkness models, so if I want to use any of my Chaos models as allies

The next model I’m planning on adding to this collection is a Wrath of Khorne Bloodthirster. Remember me mentioning the Slaanesh Daemons earlier? Well I want to get back to painting them again soon as well and paint some Seekers and Fiends and then a Keeper of Secrets. Then repeat for Nurgle and Tzeentch and I’ll hopefully have a Legion of Chaos Ascendant army led by 4 Great Daemons to go alongside my Slaves to Darkness Army… maybe then I’ll buy Archaon the Everchosen to lead them all!
