Hey guys, I’ve finished the second and final batch of Eldar Rangers. Now they only need a coat of varnish, and the squad is complete. How do you like how this three models turned out? I’m still not completely happy with the camo, especially after seeing Sigur’s awesome Tau kill team from last week, but it can’t be bothered to repaint the cloaks, because there is a Storm Talon waiting on my desk already… by the way, don’t forget to check back for some group pictures of the whole Ranger squad later this week.

Very nice paint job on them
Thought they were new sculpts that I had missed.
Really like the painting of the guns, what process did you use?
Wow! Great leather effect. It mimics lived-in, well-maintained leather brilliantly. For me this detail sets them apart from the Guardians even more than the cloaks–they have clearly been abroad for a while without losing the clean aesthetic of the Eldar.
I love them, you even got me to buy the sixth Ranger because of this post 🙂
I think the camouflage is fine. Any busier and you'd lose something. Camo needs to be really controlled on minis or else it muddles the silhouette. A restrained approach, as you've done, is probably best. Good job!
The blue plays off the golden tan of the robe and the cream helmets very nicely. Well done!
They look brilliant! Well done.
