Hello, as you may be aware I’m currently painting some Tau (amongst many other things of course). This is their commander. The weapons are magnetized, the customer asked for a dynamic, heroic pose. I hope I achieved that. As with all of the guys in this army he is somewhat grimey and battered (and the others might take some better care of their appearance if the commander did but nooo…).

Thanks a lot, we appreciate any help to continue and grow Tale of Painters 🙂
not sure I'd label this WIP, so much as "done and ready to enter competition"!
I was going to suggest the same thing. What is in WIP state on the model anyway?
Is this a Forgeworld model or a standard suit with a bit of artistic licence?
That's a forge world suit.
Looks great! Can you show us some pics of the rest of the army?

Thanks very much, guys!
Well, at this point the weapons and the base weren't done and there was some neatening up to do. I don't like posting WIPs of say an unpainted figure or one which has the first basecoat on because what's the use in that? 🙂
The model is from FW, yup. It's one of the 'less cool' armour variants and has some unflattering photos on the FW page but it's pretty cool.
