Hey guys, I managed to do some work on the final two Blood Angel Assault Marines. On the left you can see the sergeant, wielding a power sword from the Vanguard Veterans kit and an inferno pistol, on the right a marine with melter. So far I’ve painted the armour, now I’m working on the black and metal areas. I’m going to spend christmas at my parents’ place as every year, and I’ll take these models with me.
What are your plans for christmas? And did you put some models on your wish list? I’m afraid, but no plastic crack for me this christmas. I’m far too busy to work through my backlog… how about you?

I broke my oath and gave in to the whispers for Deathstorm, so that kit's added to my backlog. I have an array of primed and some basecoated models from a wide range of factions (a Trygon, a Maulerfiend and some Possessed to mention) so hopefully during new years (no Xmas for us in Turkey! Work work…) I'll work on them and in a few focused sessions come up with a few showcase posts.
My backlog will follow me to the grave but I'm absolutely going to get some more minis to pile onto it this Yule. I love your Blood Angels, that sergeant is looking terrific so far. Absolutely killer combo of parts.
How hype are you about the new BA kits? I don't play them myself and I'm very tempted to get the new tac squad and some death company as a modelling project just because the minis are so nice…
How can you paint the armor so shiny?
