I painted this guy up to make a WYSIWYG Wizarding Hat Warboss for my US Masters list. He is one of my favorite Warboss models and I wouldn’t have made the alterations to the hat if I didn’t now have an extra to paint normally.
It was fairly easy to Dremel off the eye badge and enhance the folds to make the sorting hat like face. The problem with this is that the checks or dags I normally paint around the rim of the hat would interfere with face so I moved the checks to the inside of his cloak and the blade of the weapon.
Pretty pleased with him and strongly encourage anyone looking to add some spice to their games to use the Wizarding Hat for a good giggle. 🙂
