It wasn’t long ago that I posted my recently finished Deathstorm Carnifex with a group shot of all my Carnifex models. The paint jobs and basing varied wildly and after a couple of weeks hard graft I’ve repainted them all to fit my current paint scheme. Brood shots after the jump.
Screamer Killer Brood
Dakkafex Brood
Crushing Venomfex Brood
It feels great to add these repaints back into my collection. I never use to worry about having lots of different paint jobs in my army because I enjoyed the experience of experimenting with my painting. However the more I talk to Stahly and look at his super-accurate and consistent painting style the more I wish my Tyranids followed his example. So this is a huge step forward for Hive Fleet Dendrobates.

Check out Garfy's painting tutorial on how to do his (and other) scheme. I found it really useful when I started doing my Hive Fleet (also inspired by his scheme) which is similar but not identical as it has more bone and green weapons.
Okay, officially, your are The Hive Mind. You are The Great Devourer. You have given all to the manifestation of the pursuit of The One. On a real note, you have given me the drive to make an attempt to emulate your look and style of not only your Tyranids but also your Deathwing Terminators. In short, you have my gratitude.
