My work is almost done… the Avatar is painted and glued, apart from the tabbard, which I kept seperate as I’m waiting for some sweet custom transfer sheets by Fallout Hobbies. I also want to drybrush the static grass around the Avatar’s foot with browns to make it look burned once the model has been completed and varnished. I really love this model, probably my favourite paint job of mine as of late. It was especially fun to work on his blazing body. What do you think?

I love it, certainly one of my favorite ever versions of the forgeworld avatar! (first one that really makes me want to buy the model and steal your version!)
It looks good. I think the brightness in the mouth looks ace and in some ways it's a shame the main body doesn't have such a bright core, I think Inver highlights work really well on the avatar and going really bright on the deepest cracks in the lava would have made it really pop and look like it's brimming with energy.
A great model though and it'll definitely look striking alongside the rest of the force.
I really, really like the composition of the used colours…..
