Over on Facebook, we have a community painting group called ‘Paint Your Games Support’, or as we like to refer to ourselves as PYGS. We share our work and offer encouragement to each other to finish our projects. This is where you come in, let me explain after the break.
If you’re working on your Deathwatch Overkill set and would like to receive and offer encouragement from others working on their boxed game then we’d like you to join us over on the PYGS facebook page. All you have to do is post your pictures in the Facebook group and I’ll regularly round them up and post them on Tale of Painters.
Below we have our first two submissions from Brian and Mário. Thanks guys!
Brian Edward’s Vael Donatus
Mário Pereira’s Ennox Sorrlock

Just requested to join the group. Don't own the Deathwatch box yet but would be keen to participate in other projects.
I'd love to participate, as I always need motivation to get something painted… but I don't do the Facebook!
That's a shame. It'a a great community. You're missing out.
Why not set up a reader submissions email address for this Garfy, for those to send photos to if they don't have Facebook? 🙂
I did that for the tale of the mega painters contributions. It's too insular. I would prefer the community aspect of it on Facebook.
As im looking at getting the set, do you think the paint bundles have all the paints ill need? Or will i need some more
Check out the list of paints I used in the Cassius tutorial. That will give you an idea of what you need for the deathwatch (with more needed for the colours of each Chapters shoulder pad).
