I’m on a roll with painting Eldar models, so next up is another squad of Aspect Warriors. This time: Dark Reapers. This is my first Aspect Squad in Finecast, as I wasn’t able to source a box in white metal. I try to avoid Finecast as much as possible, but this time there was no other choice.
While the casts are much better than the first horrible batches we’ve seen on the internet, there is still an obscene amount of vents to remove, with some vents located in very hard to reach places like between the necks and helmets. And it seams that the more you look at a Finecast model, the more bubbles you’ll find… what are your best or worst Finecast experiences?

I've got a finecast Gabriel Seth and after straightening out the bent sword handle and painting the items separately, the left hand arm and fist don't align!!
That's ignoring the odd and hard to reach flashing and all of the broken parts or holes on various forgeworld/finecast models. Put's me off buying them at all.
My Reapers were OK. Looking forward to seeing yours. My worst FineCast was the Elder Shadowseer. Completely lost all the raised parts on the left arm. tried to replace them, but gave up sanded it smooth.
