I’ve made a start on my Treelord Ancient for my Sylvaneth! I’ve got the base coats and shading down, and I’ve now made a start on the highlighting and picking out details.
I’ve been making my way through highlighting each section of the model to completion, which is a little different to how I usually work, normally I like to basecoat everything, shade everything and then highlight everything. I’ve decided to paint it this way so I can try pay as much attention to each little detail as I can to hopefully make him look better, I feel for centrepiece models such as these more time and effort is best. I’ve finished his left leg to completion, I may make a few changes as I go along depending on the look of the whole model. So far I’m happy with how it’s coming along, and I’m having a lot of fun!
