I couldn’t help but notice the complete lack of LotR models on the blog, so I’ve dug out pics of the Aragorn I painted last August for a friend. The slightly smaller scale was interesting to paint. I quite enjoyed it and my friend loved it.

Not only is the figure fantastic but I love the backdrop you have used, may I ask where you got the backdrop from?
I googled photographic cloud backgrounds and printed it off on a home A4 colour printer.
Awesome! Can I ask how did you paint the black? I would like to do something very similar for my new gondor army.
it was quite some time ago. I just carefully layered on blues on top of black. I would have then made a glaze of abandon black and shaded and blended the previously layers with thin coats.
I love LoTR models on ToP, keep it up!
