My Necron army is growing with a second unit of Skorpekh Destroyers in today’s post. These newly painted ones arrived with issue 4 of Imperium Part Works Magazine. Originally I wasn’t going to paint them because: 1, I already have painted them and 2, I have so many other things to paint. In the end though, I thought let’s do it, why not. More scary tripod robots is a good thing.

Hatchette Partworks kindly sent this month’s subscription for me to check out.

Funnily enough, the first time I painted Skopekh Destroyers they took me a week to complete. I managed to paint this new unit in half that time with distinguishable lack of quality to them.

Here’s the first unit of Skorpekh Destroyers I painted when Indomitus launched.

Next month’s Imperium subscription delivery is Necron heavy with an Overlord and 10 Necron Warriors. I don’t have the Overlord model so he’ll be great to paint and another 10 Necrons added to the 20 I already have painted will be pretty cool.

I still need to add some grass tufts to the bases but they’re done for done’s sake. Next project is the Captain from Issue 5.

Check out the link below for the paint guide I made on how to paint my Necron scheme.
