This is my Fire Prism, painted in my usual Saim-Hann scheme. As you see, the striking difference between the off the shelf model is the converted “old school” prism cannon. It looks more like the old model and I think it compliments the proportions of the tank better. Basically I cut of the barrel and shortened the crystal in the muzzle with a modelling saw so it looks like a one big, integrated crystal. Also notice the converted Holo-Field generators that were made from a piece from the Wave Serpent sprue.

Very nice indeed, great color pallet too. The shortened Prism Canon is nicely converted as well. I think it looks 1000x better than the longer one out of the box.
Simply awesome. Though I'm really a fan of the original "long" version of the prism cannon, I definitely love how you painted your concersion!
I love your waork mate. So crisp and clean. You have nailed the red/highlights.
Have the rear engines been highlighted. I can see where you have highlighted the hull decoration, but the engines look to be plain although that might just be the photos.
Excellent work.
