Heya, just another single mini this time. Next time it’s going to be a squad again. Anyhow, for now please bear with Caius, the superflamey Salamanders Chaplain.
First time I’ve done something so flamboyant so to speak on a Chaplain’s armour but the client likes flames on his Salamanders so that’s what I did.
Hope you like the guy. Next time it’s going to be some more Salamanders. And let me know how you feel about the flames on the armour in the comments section!

Thanks for the comments. 🙂
@Pr0Golf3r: I'm currently using old GW paints from the mid-1990s hexagonal flip top pots. For the quickest and easiest way to paint silver I apply a mid-tone silver basecoat (over black usually), wash, highlight with lighter silver.
The Flames look cool, they don't look cartoony and they don't look as if the should be on a Hot Wheels car. Good use of metallic silver. Can I ask what paints you use for your silver and how you apply them. I normally just drybrush with one colour, but looking for other ideas as I want to progress my painting. Looks great again.

Looks good, Sigur. I like the flames too. Of course, without the crozius, he might be mistaken for LOD.
