With my Chaos Sorcorer’s dismal performance in my last game, I’ve decided to add a Daemon Prince with a couple of mastery levels to my Black Legion army. Being a Daemon he should be able to conjure up Daemons a little bit more safely, and his wings, it will mean he’ll be able to conjure them just where I want them.
With the Daemon Prince completed, the next model to add to my force is a Heldrake. It will be some much needed air support. I also have to finish 15 cultists as well. Next game should be this Friday and will be 1200pts. I’m leaving Abaddon behind this time. I’m already thinking about the next 300pts to add to the force as well. I’m thinking bikes, Raptors and a Rhino for the Chosen. I lack speed for objectives.

It comes with the necron super heavy flyer. I think it is called the tesseract labyrinth or ark, or something like that lol
Hi,
what is the model on the right? I like it very much…
That skintone isn't the same as the daemonic flesh in the tutorial, is it? It looks deeper and richer and more crimson.
I used my own tutorial for painting the Daemon Prince. I suspect it's the picture. Different lights and camera back then.
I hope the force is stronger with the Daemon than was with Sorcerer 🙂
He's looking pretty cool.
Cheers dude.
well done, garf!
Cheers TW.
That is an absolutely gorgeous daemon prince, one of the nicest I've seen. The colours you picked for your black legion really suit the mini, the muted crimson is a perfect skintone.
What variety of daemon do you plan to run him as? Tzeentch seems to be making a comeback in popularity since 7E hit…
I'm not sure yet. I'm open to suggestions?
I'm writing my list tomorrow, for Friday's game.
Did this thing just eat my comment? Bah!
He came out awesome. The fiery recesses look great. I really like that deep maroon for the skin. What color is that anyway?

Ahhhhhh! Wished I had seen this earlier! Took me days to find out how to paint the horns!
Here's another way to paint horns.
