Hey guys, I started painting the first batch of Dark Reapers. For the armour, I wanted to try something different. I could have gone for a plain black, I also thought about other colours like a dark purple as on my Dark Eldar, but in the end I settled for a very dark metallic colour. The recipe is Reaper Master Series Adamantium Black (can be replaced with a mix of black and your preferred dark silver paint), a drybrush of Army Painter Gun Metal (Leadbelcher), a wash of Army Painter Dark Tone Ink and a final highlight of Gun Metal.
Some areas like the launchers’ nozzles or the antennas will become a “real” black, so it will be interesting to see how these two shades of black will work together. What do you think?
