Hi all! Today I would like to show you my rendition of the new Lord Celestant model “Garviel Sureheart”, painted for my “Silverlions” stormhost. Some more pictures after the jump.
For the cloak on his back I choose red hues.
I like the simplicity of this color scolour. It reminds me of all the old knight movies I watched when I was younger:)

I'm loving your color scheme! I hope you won't mind if I borrow it for my Shadespire gang..
Thx?? and don’t worry ?
Lovely work, may I ask how you achieved the blue glow effect on his greaves and sword?
Thx?? It’s only thinned down Guilliman Blue. I also used thinned down Druchii Violet which is not quite visible.
I am painting mine atm! You inspired me! 😀
I like that ??All the best ??????
The face sculpt is hilarious. Looks like an 80s metal singer 😀
Can also bee used for the Emperor I think?
Want to try doing one of these as a BA space marine captain. Needs a bit of kitbashing and probably replacement storm shield.
Great idea ??
Lovely work, can I ask what colours you used on the cloak? 🙂
Hey Amy thx??. I used thinned down Khorne Red washed with Athonian Camo Shade. Then I applied thin layers of Khorne Red mixed with Mephiston Red then mixed with Wild Rider Red then Celesta Grey and Pallid Which Flesh ??
