Short review: Dawnbringers box sets
A new Season of Warhammer Age of Sigmar begins with a new narrative series, Dawnbringers, which tells of the beginnings of Sigmar’s Twin-tailed Crusade. To coincide with Book 1, four new boxes are released, each forming a Regiment of Renown and a new miniature for their faction: Phlugoth’s Shudderhood, Braggit’s Bottle-snatchaz, Fjori’s Flamebearers, and Jerrion’s Delegation.

Shoals of Screamers hunt down their prey no matter what its size using barbed, spiked and bladed wings. Even large creatures aren’t safe from their lamprey bite and gorging itself on the life blood of the hapless victim. Showcase: Soulblight Gravelords Fell Bats (inc. painting guide)
When I wrote my recap of last year, I realized I haven’t painted anything for my Soulblight Gravelords and Nighthaunt collection in ages. I had a box of the new plastic Fell Bats sitting on my shelf for ages, so I thought I would give them a go. I got a Vargskyr from Cursed City, which I also want to paint at some point, so these Fell Bats are kind of test models for the scheme I planned for it.
