These tutorials are pretty awesome.
Does this mean your entire DV set is now finished?
If yes, now finishing your Space Hulk, Deathstorm, and Dark Vengeance set, what box is next?
Do you by any chance have the Assassinorum execution force box? :-p
Dark Vengeance isn't finished. I have 5 Tac marines, 2 bikers, 3 DA characters, 15 cultists and 1 aspiring champ to paint.
My first Space Hulk is finished, my second one isn't. Dreadfleet, Tyranid Attack and the Hobbit are all finished.
I do own Execution force. I wrote a review of it for this blog. I'm hoping to do an Assassins tutorial soon.
These tutorials have been an excellent read, I don't even own an GW miniatures yet and I just cant stop reading them! They've been a real inspiration for me to get back into 40K (I say back into it I used to watch my dad paint the miniatures in my pre teens and that was nearly twenty years ago!) I just need to run the idea passed the wife first!
At £65 the Dark Vengeance box set is an absolute bargain, rough estimate of £185 worth of miniatures alone! So will be starting there. Reading through your tutorials you mention at the start of having basic knowledge of painting techniques, being a complete newb I have none! Any chance you could post a tutorial of techniques to get me started? I've been scrolling through the tutorials and cant find one but feel free to point me in the direction if I've missed something. Thanks, Jason
