Hey there, I started my next painting project, Spiteclaw’s Swarm for Warhammer Underworlds. I really love Skaven, they’re one of my favourite Fantasy / Age of Sigmar factions. I’ve owned a rather large Fantasy army that I sold, I painted some Skaven for Blood Bowl / Blitz Bowl, and now I want to paint more. This is the first test model for the Hungering Skaven, and I’m quite happy with the paint scheme I came up with. The paint scheme was inspired by the studio version of Warlord Spinetail that was released along Island of Blood ages ago, the green cloth a nod to my old Skaven army. Fur, skin and some other details like the leather were painted with Contrast paints over Wraithbone primer, then layered and highlighted.
