In this ToP Tip series I share some of my favourite paint recipes I came up with lately. Find out how to paint dark and light Silver Skulls power armour, Nighthaunt spectral bodies with a purple hue, and an alternative way to paint Striking Scorpions green, all in this post.

2. Nighthaunt spectral purple bodies tutorial
Really love this combination of zenithal airbrushing and drybrushing, really helps to get large parts of the models done quickly so I can focus on the details. On my Patreon, I have a complete step-by-step tutorial for my Nighthaunt scheme for those interested.
Colours used – and their closest matches from the Citadel Colour range in [brackets]:
- Warpaints Air Broodmoother Purple / Yeti White mix [or mix Corax White with some Naggaroth Nightmare]

3. Cool Striking Scorpions green painting guide
Check out my painting guide above if you’re looking for a more cooler hue of Striking Scorpion Aeldari armour. As you might notice, I painted the armour using only the new Warpaints Fanatic from The Army Painter, you can find a detailed review here. And to learn how I painted this Exarch from start to finish, head over to my Patreon for a detailed tutorial.

- Warpaints Fanatic Wild Green [or Skarsnik Green]
- Warpaints Fanatic Ferocious Green [or Skarsnik Green mixed with White Scar]
