Showcase: Warcry Fomoroid Crusher
Smashing through from the Eight Points this week is my take on the Fomoroid Crusher for Warcry. An overall amazing kit with a ton of options and bits. Reminding us that the word Ogre isn’t a synonym for a green swamp dwelling creature with Scottish accent voiced by a Canadian.
Showcase: Warcry Darkoath Savagers
On today’s post I share the Darkoath Savages I finished on the last day of December. These models are part of the Warcry Red Harvest Boxed Game and were the last models I needed to paint to complete that game. It always feels great to finish a boxed game. I also own a sizeable (over 2000pts) army of painted Slaves to Darkness, so these are great additions I’m happy to add.
Showcase: Warcry Tarantulos Brood
The Tarantulos Brood swing into action on the blog and prepare their trap with tempting showcase photography bait. If you’re here then you’re already been caught on the web.
Tutorial: How to Paint Tarantulos Brood Doomweaver
In this post, I’ll show you how to paint a Tarantulos Brood Doomweaver from the Warcry Red Harvest box set. I painted this model in 20 easy to follow steps. You’ll learn how I paint white webs, spider armour plates, poisoned skin and more. This tutorial is perfect for any of the models in the Tarantulos Brood like the Broodmaster or Broodkin. Find out how in this tutorial.
Showcase: Warcry: Red Harvest Varanite Delve
Welcome weary traveller, your journey across the Bloodwind Spoil must have been treacherous and fraught with danger. You’ll find no respite here at them there mines, for this is a deadly Varanite Delve where even the Daemon bound cursed machinery can end your mortal life. Check out my finished Warcry Red Harvest Terrain and I’ll share the paint recipes too.
Review: Warcry: Red Harvest (Unboxing & Models)
Only one week after the unveiling on Warhammer Day now follows the pre-order of Red Harvest, the new Warcry starter box with two brand new warbands, brand new terrain, and a new campaign book that includes the core rules as well. Games Workshop has kindly sent over this set for us to unbox so we can share our first impressions and show you the exact contents and sprues.
Showcase: Soulblight Gravelords Warcry Warband
Getting into Warcry has never been easier with Games Workshop’s recent release of free to download Soulblight Gravelords rules. In today’s post, I’m going to show you my Warcry roster and some example warbands I made using Cursed City models, Start Collecting Soulblight Gravelords and a Vampire Lord. The Cursed City is out of stock, Radukar’s Court is available to order on the Games Workshop online website or their in-store order points.
Showcase: “Cherry Tree” Awakened Wyldwoods
I’ve painted an Awakened Wyldwood from the Warcry Souldrain Forest set in a pink “cherry tree” paint scheme. Now I know why Games Workshop dubbed this kit as soul draining, because these trees are probably the least enjoyable models I’ve assembled and painted in a long time. Or, like ever. Anyways, check out the pictures of the finished set.
Showcase: Warcry Khainite Shadowstalkers
The Khainite Shadowstalkers have been sent into the Eight points by Morathi to venture deep into the Varanthax’s Maw to seek out precious Varanite. After the jump check out some close ups and get the low down on how I painted their skin.
Review: Warcry Grand Alliance Chaos, Death, Order and Destruction books
I’ve got 4 video reviews for you today. A video for each Warcry Grand Alliance
book. Check out what I thought of these collective tomes after the jump.
