Commander Dante is believed to be the oldest loyalist Space Marine at over 1500 years old, having now crossed the Rubicon Primaris he is increased in strength and stature and prepared to face the the enemies of the Emperor once more. Mutating and twisting the mortal realms in a kaleidoscope of magic, the Screamers of Tzeentch ride these magical waves in search of lost souls. Shoals of Screamers hunt down their prey no matter what its size using barbed, spiked and bladed wings. Even large creatures aren’t safe from their lamprey bite and gorging itself on the life blood of the hapless victim. I painted a Contemptor Dreadnought, a Kratos, and some infantry, so now it was time to add a worthy leader to my Sons of Horus strikeforce. The Praetor with double-handed axe is my favourite model from the new Horus Heresy range, and I wanted to do the model justice.

Showcase: Soulblight Gravelords Fell Bats (inc. painting guide)
When I wrote my recap of last year, I realized I haven’t painted anything for my Soulblight Gravelords and Nighthaunt collection in ages. I had a box of the new plastic Fell Bats sitting on my shelf for ages, so I thought I would give them a go. I got a Vargskyr from Cursed City, which I also want to paint at some point, so these Fell Bats are kind of test models for the scheme I planned for it.
