Showcase: Space Wolves Lieutenant, Bladeguard & Helblasters
Hi everyone, Dunk here with a savage but focused article on one of my favorite Space Marine Chapters – the mighty Space Wolves, aka the Vlka Fenryka. It’s a great time to be a Space Wolves fan, with plenty of exciting new releases on the horizon! Personally, though, it’s a bit bittersweet for me – let me explain.
Showcase: Sons of Horus Despoilers
Today I’m giving you a look at the first half of my Despoiler Squadron that I’m currently working on. These are MkIII models that I’ve customised with some Sons of Horus bitz and melee weapons. More on that in this post.
Showcase: Thousand Sons Sekhetar Robots (inc. painting guides)
Bit of a strange one on the blog today, I thought I’d talk about designing an atmospheric photo. if you’ve seen any of my posts on this website, you’d have noticed photographs that wouldn’t look out of place in an official publication. Occasionally, Games Workshop actually asks me to submit these photos for inclusion in White Dwarf or Warhammer Community. Let’s have a look at how I make this happen. There’s also a bonus tutorial on painting Sekhetar Robots at the end.
Showcase: Prince Vhordrai, Lord of the Crimson Keep (inc. painting guides)
Soulblight Gravelords are getting new model kits released this Saturday and I was lucky enough to get some of them early. I’ve painted Prince Vhordrai, Lord of the Crimson Keep to add to my army. I have my painting guide for him at the end of this article and I’ll also share plenty of pictures showing all the different angles.
Showcase: Black Legion Chaos Cultists & Beastmen
Hi everyone, I’d like to take the opportunity to talk about my Black Legion today. Rather than focusing on the key characters and major players in the force, I want to share some of my favorite units—those often considered the “weakest” in the game. I’m talking about the villainous Chaos Cultists and Beastmen.
ToP Tip: 3 quick guides for painting Warp Spiders’ crimson armour
In this ToP Tip series, I share my best paint recipes on a regular basis. In today’s post, I brought three painting guides for the Craftworld Ulthwé Warp Spiders I painted recently. Learn how to paint red armour, black helmets, wraithbone, and more.
Showcase: Aeldari Wave Serpent Grav Tank (inc. painting guides)
Why have I bought and painted a Wave Serpent and added it to my army before I even know what I’m going to put into it? We’ll find that out and chat about my 1000pt list in today’s post. I’ll also share my recipe card painting guide for this Ulthwe Craftworld scheme.
Showcase: Rittak Verm from Zikkit’s Tunnelpack
Rittak Verm is the ruthless kill-wheel rider from Zikki’s Tunnelpack. The model is so sick that I wanted to dedicate a separate post to him, complete with extra-large photos.
Showcase: Legions Imperialis Karacnos Assault Tanks (inc. painting guide)
The Horus Heresy and by extension Legions Imperialis, has the same problem that Lord of the Rings suffers from. That’s all changing with the Dark Mechanicum models, whilst not true Dark Mechanicum models, you can take Karacnos Tanks as part of the Horus aligned Mechanicus. Find why I take issue with games from the 31st Millennium in today’s post.
Showcase: Space Wolves Terminators & Wolf Lord
Terminators are, without a doubt, some of the most iconic models in the Warhammer 40,000 universe. These mighty suits of battle plate make their wearers almost impervious to damage—though we’ve all suffered the heartbreak of rolling those dreaded “1s” when a simple 2+ would’ve saved the day!
